I don't care if the story you're telling me is true. What I care about is... was it a risk for you to share because it revealed some truth about yourself that you're still grappling with.
I care about the amount of courage it took for you to speak. I care about your willingness to be with vulnerability, even though every trembling ounce of you is screaming, this could be death.
I don't love you because your story is true or not. I love you because you showed up, you really showed up. I love you for letting me see the part of you, that for you, is the hardest to hold - and for me, the easiest to love.
